Personalization is paramount for Alexa’s adoption in customer’s household. I lead several projects dedicated to personalizing Alexa, encompassing the development of an Alexa profile page, the acquisition of customer interests, and the recognition of individuals through voice and visual identification. Impact: 1) Redesign of profile pages has significantly increased profile creation due to the simplified information architecture and gamification of features. 2) Revamp of profiles and preference management across device profiles, including mobile and multimodal devices. 3) Conceived the conversational learning experience for Alexa. 

Redesign of Alexa app skill store experience to improve discoverability of Alexa’s features includes things to try, skills, games and more. Impact 1) New design increased engagement and enablement of Alexa skills. 2) The UX framework facilitated developers in showcasing skills through animations and videos, enabling customers to comprehend their capabilities. 3) A high-fidelity vision was demonstrated through artifacts such as animated prototypes and showreels, aiding leadership in visualizing the experience. 4) Proposed incremental releases to achieve the north star vision.

I designed user experience framework for retail shopping experiences that enable customers to effortlessly discover product variations and add-ons. This framework was adopted by over 12 partner teams across Amazon, leading to improved business metrics. Impact: 1) Simplified product variation selection 2) Ranked as one of the best variation selection in shopping websites 3) Minimized development effort and cost of multiple teams.

I facilitated design workshops with clients to gather requirements and design features that help retail store managers make product decisions for the super markets. This UX consulting project involved discovery to delivery. Impact: 1) This project enabled sellers to leverage analytics tools very efficiently for the decision process 2) Gained new business opportunities for the organization.
